Scientific Training

Scope

The Scientific Training of the GS-EES aims at deepening and widening the knowledge in the interdisciplinary filed of electrochemical energy storage.

In addition to the Block Course ”Materials, Functioning and Technology of Batteries” and the Summer School, which are part of the Core Program and provide some general inside into a broad variety of topics, the Scientific Training features workshops, seminars and lectures, which can be chosen to dig deeper into a specific topic, to widen the scope and keep track with the developments in the field and to get hands-on training to important methods.

A certain total number of credits is mandatory including a minimum for the categories “Lectures” and “Seminars”. Besides that, the Scientific Training can be tailored individually to the needs and interests of every GS-EES member.
