Scope

Would you like to improve your communication skills in an international environment?
In this practice-oriented course, you will learn to confidently recognize cultural differences and successfully communicate in a global context.

Course content:

• Understanding cultural differences in communication
• Adapting your own communication style to be interculturally sensitive
• Identifying causes of misunderstandings in international cooperation
• Learning strategies for conflict resolution in intercultural challenges
• Analysing country-specific characteristics and behaviours
• Optimizing communication in English as a foreign language

Registration

The workshop is open for GS-EES members and all POLiS affiliates including post-docs.

The number of participants is restricted to 15.
If we receive more registrations, we will organize an additional workshop as soon as possible.

Participants of this workshop can gain 0,5 CP for “Equal Opportunities / Diversity / Mentorship” in the GS-EES qualification program.
